The Herriott-type long-path gas absorption cell is designed using optical transmission theory combined with specialized lens and optomechanical structures. It achieves multiple reflections of the optical path, breaking the reflection limit of traditional multi-pass absorption cells. This design allows for a long optical path within a compact size, without the optical spots overlapping.
